How Often to Post on Twitter:

Unlike any other platform, Twitter is fast moving, and Tweets come in thick and fast across people’s timelines, it’s said that the average lifetime of a Tweet is only 18 minutes! Therefore, it’s essential that you post around 15 tweets per day. The content must be relevant and useful to your audience – don’t just post for the sake of it!

Engagement is also key with Twitter – engage with followers, engage with others in your industry, share other content from influencers within your industry, keep front of mind and make the experience personal to your followers.


How Often to Post on Facebook:

Facebook works much differently to Twitter, the demographic is older and posts have a longer lifespan. Quite the polar opposite to Twitter - Facebook can be unsuccessful if you post more than twice a day.

We advise that you stick to around 1 post per day while keeping content engaging, relevant and consistent.

It’s suggested that you post between 1 or 2 posts per day on the popular photo sharing platform, and some studies have suggested that your followers can grow by up to 56% by putting a post out every day!

With Instagram, it’s best to keep consistent and post regular content. However, don’t forget about the stories feature!

Instagram stories are a great way to boost engagement with followers through interactive features such as polls and Q&A’s etc. With stories, you can post as often or as little as you want – although stories can be muted so try not to spam your audience!
