Knowing how often to post to social media is a hidden key in making sure your posts reach your desired audience. Whilst there is no definite answer to the question there are some best practise rules you can follow as you develop what is best for you. Your success will be somewhat dependant on your followers age range, interests and social media habits, but this is a great place to start.

If you post too infrequently, your audience will forget that you exist and you will quickly fade into the deep dark recesses of their minds. However, if you are posting too often, you will become a complete nuisance and they will dread seeing your posts overcrowding their feed.
As well as how often to post, when to post can have impact on the results you get. As with frequency the demographics of your followers will dictate when the optimal time for you to post will be. A certain amount of trial and error will be required to work out exactly what works for you.
